While felicitating Pakistan’s newly elected prime minister Imran Khan, the United Nations said Friday it lookd forward to working with him.
“We congratulate the Prime Minister and look forward to working with him,” a spokesman for Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said.
The National Assembly of Pakistan – the Lower House of the Parliament – elected Imran Khan as Leader of the House with a 176 vote in his favor.
Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party won July 25 election nationally as well as in two provinces.
