A Daring Soul

The more I glare patiently

I see the willful mystery of the way,

These dreams, can’t be wiped out

I may skip and sometimes hop

Screaming for trotting awkwardly,

I stumbled on my ride.

No substitute, no matter the intensity of the pitfall.

I admit! your ride flashes and dazzles

Never in equal astral as my vision

I may throb, quiver, or slide.

I have learned to pause and draw strength

For I am a daring soul.

A Naive Heart

Once craves the marsupial pouch,

To calm her psyche,

In modesty, she crouched

Her intrinsic innocence

Her sweetness appealed

To the appalled hunters of glamour,

Who took her for granted,

Fondling her with lethal vigor.

A naive heart knows no complexity

Till the world gave her the dexterity

To sleight her weight in true absurdity.
