Iran fired a large round of missiles against Israel, following Tel Aviv’s overnight attack that hit Tehran’s military and nuclear sites.
Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei declared that the Iranian nation “will inflict heavy blows” after Israel “launched war” against Iran.
Israeli Defense Forces said all of Isreal is under attack.
Israeli strikes took out the top commander of Islamic Revolutionary Forces and killed two leading nuclear scientists.
As per reports, Israel’s Iron Dome defense system intercepted most of the missiles but some of them broke through the system.
Images on the Internet showed a building on fire while The Times of Israel put the number of injured at seven, according to initial reports.
After Friday’s attacks, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Iran will strike back.
“It will come…I expect an attack against us…It could be very severe attacks, in waves,” he said, cautioning Israelis against the fallout.
He argued that Israel had no choice to strike Iran and stop it from acquiring nuclear weapons.
“…we have no choice …if we don’t attack, then it’s 100% that we will die,” he said.
