Central Texas Country, the scene of catastrophic floods, braced for more rain with the possibility of further flooding in some parts Monday following one of the heaviest downpours in recent history that killed more than 100 people.
A large search mission involving local, state and federal workers continued Monday morning days into the disaster after rains swelled rivers including Guadalupe River outside San Antonio in a few hours.
The raging waters swept away people and properties. The downpours started pounding the area known as Flash Flooding Alley early Friday.
Mystic Camp, situated on the bank of Guadalupe River, mourned the loss of its 27 campers and counselors following the massive flooding.
President Donald Trump and Governor Greg Abbot said the rescue and search missions saved hundreds of lives.
